About Our Footscray Clinic

Our Footscray clinic on Summerhill Road has looked after patients in Melbourne’s inner west for years. We focus on dental sleep care, using oral appliance therapy to help with snoring, obstructive sleep apnoea, teeth grinding (also called bruxism) and jaw pain from temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders.

Your care is led by dentist Dr Damian Teo, who has more than 10 years’ experience in dental sleep medicine. He also works with sleep physicians when you need a medical diagnosis or a sleep study. Your first visit is simple. We take time to understand your sleep history and what’s brought you in, then talk about whether a custom-fitted oral appliance might suit you. You don’t need a referral to book an appointment, and we’ll always be clear about what’s realistic for you.

You’ll be looked after by a friendly team that works with sleep and jaw concerns every day, led by Dr Teo, an experienced dentist. We take time to understand your situation, so the care we suggest fits you rather than a set routine. Where an oral appliance is the right option, we use CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and manufacturing) technology to make custom-fitted nylon appliances.

Getting here is easy too. The clinic has street parking nearby, quick access to the main western routes, and Footscray Station is a short trip away if you’d rather take public transport. We keep the rooms calm and comfortable, and we’re always happy to answer your questions, whether they’re about costs, private health cover, or how an oral appliance compares with a CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) machine.
