Shirley Wilson Shirley is registered Psychologists, an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society; she holds a Graduate Diploma in Family Therapy and Diploma in Alcohol and Drug counselling.
Shirley has extensive experience working over the last twenty-one years in the following areas of treatment:

- Drug and alcohol counselling, relapse prevention and harm minimisation
- Child and adult sexual assault.
- Anxiety, depression and unresolved grief.
- Core beliefs and relationships and familial patterns.
- Eating Disorder

- Marital, family and relationship problems
Therapy explores the understanding and changing patterns of behaviour; examines the underlying issues and core beliefs that often determine our patterns of emotional and psychological responses; the self-defeating patterns of behaviour that often dominate and control one’s life. Exploring how self-esteem, self-worth and ability to solve problems are intrinsically linked. .
The therapeutic relationship is collaborative in nature and Shirley encourages individuals to become self-empowering, able to make firm decisions regarding their life and choices in life. Therapy adopted by Shirley is integrated/holistic therapy that blends elements Cognitive-Behavioural, Attachment, Experiential, Schema Therapy, Narrative and Solution Focussed Therapy.
